L-RTU License

L-RTU is a functional license for connecting one RTU network audio amplifier to the InterTech Communication digital public address, public address communication, and message broadcasting system based on the IS-R server.

The license is used to integrate RTU power amplifiers that connect analog audio distribution lines to an IP-based public address system. This is especially relevant for modernization projects where 100 V loudspeaker lines are already in use but centralized control through the IS-R server is required.

The L-RTU license allows an IP amplifier to be added to the system structure, assigned to a broadcast zone, used in alert scenarios, and used to transmit voice messages, operational announcements, background audio, and evacuation signals.

L-RTU is not a standalone software product and is used only as part of an IS-R-based system with an active L-IS-R license.
