L-NEC License

L-NEC is a functional license for connecting one PA/VA network controller or emergency controller to the IS-R server platform.

The license is used to integrate devices that connect the InterTech Communication digital public address system with external safety and automation systems: fire alarm systems, civil defense and emergency response systems, facility automation, evacuation scenario launch systems, and emergency control lines.

After connection under the L-NEC license, the controller becomes a managed system element. Its events can launch alert scenarios, evacuation messages, official notifications, be displayed on the Dispatcher Workstation, and be recorded in the event log.

L-NEC is used only as part of an IS-R-based system with an active L-IS-R license and is not a standalone software product.
